We are seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-focused individual to serve in a leadership position that will create and implement a marketing and promotions plan for our growing insurance office. This person will champion our brand and value proposition for the Agency while serving our Agents and Advisors as we partner in their business growth throughout our territory.
The candidate will work within the office in VT or NY depending on location. It is not a remote position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Marketing/Promotions :
· Create and manage tactical plans for timely and effective implementation
· Maintain and communicate agency marketing calendar and events.
· Leverage activities to drive brand awareness
· Evaluate and measure results
· Leverage strategic partnerships
· Support agents individual marketing and brand awareness opportunities
· Basic design capabilities to create/maintain/update internal posters, flyers etc.
Event Management Coordination – with a WOW Factor
· Seminars/Tradeshows
· Meetings, Quarterly in person training sessions, Annual Conferences
· Charitable Events / Fundraisers
· Consistent, timely, and effective internal promotions
Digital & Web Strategy – Brand Awareness
· Manage website and drive engagement
· Coordinate content for monthly newsletter
· Advertising / Press releases as needed
· Marketing Collateral – package and promote
· Social Media Strategy /Presence – Consistent, meaningful presence.
Onboarding
· Coordinate a smooth welcome for new candidates to ensure they are welcomed, promoted, and launched successfully.
Qualifications / Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or equivalent experience
· Ability to travel
· Financial Services Industry Experience is helpful though not required
· Relationship Focused
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational/planning skills with the ability to prioritize
· Effectively implement and execute project management timelines
· Adaptability to changing environments
· Creative and forward-thinking
· Attention to detail and timelines is required.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook,
· Proficient in a design program such as Adobe, Canva, etc.
· Work individually and within a team, both as a member and team leader.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
