As our KFC South Pacific, Marketing Director for Retail & Media, reporting to our CMO, you’ll be responsible for the strategic leadership of our retail business and marketing activities. This includes the development and execution of omni-channel retail and media strategy, pricing, revenue growth management, calendar and budgets designed to achieve the company’s growth, revenue and profit targets.

ABOUT YOU – OUR NEXT ORIGINAL

  • Demonstrated senior marketing experience at a strategy formulation level (ideally within a QSR/consumer products/services company).
  • Broad modern marketing management experience (sales promotion, revenue growth management, pricing, market research, product development, brand strategy, retail advertising, merchandising, media etc).
  • Experience with retail, eCommerce, service and/or multi-outlet industry (highly regarded).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cross functional collaboration capabilities.
  • High work ethic and sense of urgency.
  • Relevant tertiary degree in marketing (or business-related discipline).
  • Previous experience with multi-national preferred.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF YOUR NEW ROLE

  • Lead the omni-channel retail strategy, calendar and national media plan.
  • Develop and recommend marketing strategies, budgets and detailed plans to achieve approved growth, revenue and profit targets.
  • Lead the marketing / strategic vision for new concepts to address key growth opportunities and category entry points.
  • Direct the Pricing strategy and Value innovation, including development and oversight of a multi-year pricing roadmap and omnichannel growth strategy.
  • Direct and control execution of the national retail marketing calendar, channel and master media strategies.
  • Direct and approve; retail advertising and sales promotion activities, menu-board design and point of sale merchandising.
  • Direct the development of an intelligent, dynamic and connected capability model to enabling agile pricing execution.
  • Oversee marketing insight function and provide input to strategic planning process.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of approved corrective action activities.
  • Consult and liaise with cross functional departments to enable effective execution and maximisation of retail programs.
  • Participate in Global forums/work groups and collaborate with other markets.
