Job Description

The Digital Marketing Analytics Professional 2 develops marketing strategies and delivers promotional marketing messages to consumers online with the intent of generating traffic and sales on the organization’s e-commerce site through conception, coordination, and control of Internet/Digital Marketing. The Digital Marketing Analytics Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Analytics Professional 2 plans, develops, and implements internet marketing strategies to promote products/brands and services online (e.g., email, search engine, social media, display and mobile advertising, etc.). Analyzes online traffic analytics and develops actions to improve marketing campaign performance. Identifies online marketing and buying trends and insights to optimize online marketing spend and campaign performance. Develops e-marketing content and material (e.g., e-newsletters, e-magazines, website and blog content, social media accounts, etc.). Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Preferred focus in Arts or Science with an emphasis in business, marketing, computer science or information technology.
  • Basic knowledge of the digital space and the tools used to measure digital advertising including DoubleClick for Advertisers, Omniture, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
  • Fluency in using Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, charting, and automation.
  • Interdepartmental Communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Problem solving skills – Ability to identify holes in data and provide reporting solutions
  • Prior digital marketing experience especially in paid search, display, and paid social or related fields preferred.
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior health insurance industry experience
  • Prior ad agency experience a plus
  • Prior experience using Adobe Suite

Additional Information

Office Based – This is an onsite office position where employees will enjoy an assigned office or a workstation in a specific company office.

  • Schedule is between the hours of 9:00am–5pm EST (Monday-Friday) some possible weekends and overtime but only as needed by the business.
